FOR WOMEN TIRED OF STRUGGLING WITH FOOD AND STARTING OVER...

Create a healthy life that feels like freedom. Create a healthy life that feels like freedom.

Mastering Mindfulness™ is a 12-week program to explore your relationship with food, learn to listen inward, and experience more freedom in the way you eat.

So being healthy can stop feeling like something you have to force...

and become the way you naturally live.

IF YOU'RE HERE...

Part of you knows you’re capable of more.

Maybe you've tried everything. You're at your wit's end.

And you're afraid you might struggle forever.

But another part of you knows...

There's more available to you.

You're ready for more than needing rules just to feel in control.

For cravings to stop having so much power over you.

For food to take up less space in your mind.

You're ready to feel free.

To eat something you love without worrying you'll lose control.

To feel calm and steady with food, wherever you are.

To feel proud of how you're taking care of yourself.

You want being healthy to stop feeling like something you're always trying to do...

and start feeling like who you are.

Because being healthy shouldn’t feel like a battle with yourself.

AND YET...

You can know exactly what to do... and still struggle with food.

You can stand in the kitchen knowing you’re not hungry... and still feel like you need something.

You can genuinely want to eat better... but then suddenly a craving feels stronger than your willpower.

And that's what's so frustrating. Maybe you've eaten healthier, cut things out, and promised yourself you'd stay committed.

But somehow, you keep ending up back in the same place.

Maybe you've quietly wondered... Why is this so hard? Is it me?

What if being disciplined was never the whole story?

THE REASON THIS HAS BEEN SO HARD...

You were told how to eat. You were never taught how to know what you actually need.

You might have been told what's "good" and what's "bad" for you.

But that can't answer...

Am I actually hungry?

What is this craving trying to tell me?

What do I need right now?

When you don't know how to answer those questions, it feels confusing.

You might know what you “should” do...

and still find yourself overeating or feeling powerless around food.

Because knowing what to do... isn't the same as knowing what you need.

And the more you understand yourself, the less you fight with yourself.

THERE IS ANOTHER WAY.

Imagine taking care of your body without having to fight yourself through it.

Things start to feel easier when you know what you need.

You know when you're hungry.

You know when you've had enough.

Your cravings make more sense, so they don’t feel as powerful.

All along, you didn't need more discipline or more food rules. You were ready to discover something that food plans never taught you... what's happening inside of you.

This is the power of mindfulness.

Mindfulness helps you become more aware of your body, cravings, emotions, and needs... so you can better understand why you make the food choices you make.

The answer isn't controlling your food more. It’s getting to know yourself better.

And over time, things feel different.

You start taking care of your body because it genuinely feels good.

And you can enjoy food you love without being afraid everything is going to unravel.

And that’s when taking care of yourself can start to feel like freedom.

I'm finally not at war with food. After 30 years of struggle, that's huge."
— Jacque

I've lost 25 pounds and gained self respect and love that fills my heart. And nothing was forced."

MASTERING MINDFULNESS™

MASTERING MINDFULNESS™

A different way to create lasting health.

LISTEN INWARD. LEAD YOURSELF.

Mastering Mindfulness™ guides you into a deeper relationship with food, your body, and yourself.

You begin to notice more. Your hunger. Your fullness. Your cravings. The patterns behind your choices. What your body has been trying to tell you all along.

And as you learn to listen, things that once felt confusing start to make sense.

You begin to know what you need.

Instead of needing rules, willpower, or another plan to hold everything together, you begin to trust yourself more deeply and make choices that genuinely feel like your own.

THERE'S MORE TO DISCOVER ABOUT YOURSELF.

Most people don’t know what’s really behind their food choices.

Mindfulness lets you slow down enough...

SO YOU CAN SEE WHAT'S ACTUALLY HAPPENING.

“I’m just bad at portion control.”

I learned as a child that wasting food wasn’t allowed.

“I lose control with food at night.”

I realized I wasn’t eating enough during the day.

“I eat when I’m stressed.”

I started seeing what I was actually needing in those moments.

“I have no self-control.”

I realized that belief had been shaping the way I saw every food choice.

One realization could free you from something you've struggled with for 10, 20, or 30 years.

The Mastering Mindfulness™ Journey

Over 12 weeks, you'll move through three phases designed to help you understand yourself more clearly, listen to your body, and trust yourself more deeply.

Phase One

Discover What’s Been Keeping You Stuck

You begin seeing the thoughts, reactions, and food patterns that once happened automatically.

Things that used to feel random start making more sense, and you begin noticing yourself with more curiosity and less judgment.

The Shift

I see myself more clearly.

Phase Two

Understand What Your Body Is Telling You

You begin reconnecting with hunger, fullness, satisfaction, stress, emotions, cravings, and the sensations happening in your body.

You learn how to stay present long enough to listen more closely and make more sense of what your body may be communicating.

The Shift

I know what my body is telling me.

Phase Three

Become Someone You Trust

You begin making more sense of what may be underneath a craving, urge, or food moment.

Now you begin learning how to understand what you need and choose from that place.

Cravings may feel less powerful, food can take up less space in your mind, and taking care of yourself begins to feel more natural.

The Shift

I trust myself to lead the way.

THE MASTERING MINDFULNESS™ METHOD

The Skill You'll Practice

01

PAUSE

Create space before automatically reacting. This is where old patterns have a chance to change.

02

LISTEN

Get curious. Is this hunger? Stress? An emotion? A craving? What do you need? This is where you learn how to find your answer.

03

DECIDE

Bring together what you know and what you need. Make a choice intentionally rather than from rules, urgency, or autopilot. This is where you build self trust.

The practice is simple.

What it changes runs deep.

You're not just making different food choices.

You're learning how to lead yourself.

The journey looks different for everyone.

But self trust changes everything.

Hear from people who have experienced this work and what changed in their relationship with food, their bodies, and themselves.

Gina Worful, MS, RD - Registered Dietitian

Founder of Mastering Mindfulness™

Hi, I'm Gina

If things have felt like a struggle, I feel you.

This was me about 9 years ago. Man, I was struggling.

I became a dietitian because I thought if I just had all the answers and knew what to do... being healthy would be easy.

But after two degrees in nutrition, I was shocked to find that I knew exactly what to do... and I still struggled.

I exercised almost every day.
Diligently tracked everything I ate.
Tried food plan after food plan.

And somehow, I was still thinking about food all the time.

I knew how to make healthy choices but my cravings felt stronger.

Eventually, I was exhausted from constantly starting over.

Part of me wanted to give up.

But I didn’t want to give up on myself.

At some point, I realized I couldn't keep doing this. I couldn't spend my whole life trying harder and harder to control myself.

So instead of finding another plan, I started getting curious.

Why am I always thinking about food?
What are my cravings actually asking for?
What happens if I stop fighting my body and start listening to it?

And for the first time, things started to make sense. I started to feel my hunger. Understand my cravings. I knew what I was needing.

And over time, food didn't feel so powerful. I wasn't starting over every day.

Turns out, I didn't need more food rules or another plan or more diligent tracking.

I needed a deeper relationship with myself and my body. And that changed everything.

Today, I bring together my background in nutrition with mindfulness, behavior change, and the deeper relationship we have with ourselves to help you build something I don't believe any food plan alone can give you...

The ability to trust yourself.

"My husband brought home a dessert. I had a couple bites and enjoyed it but then realized it’s not actually what I want.

I could look at what beliefs those desires were tied to... and if it aligns with what I want in life.

It all became more intuitive. I was able to do that because of my work with you.

This was life changing. The work you’re doing is truly life changing. The tools are game changing.”

I signed up for this program thinking I was going to get some good strategies for resisting cravings.

I did receive good strategies but I also gained so much more.

I have such a better understanding of truly listening to my body to learn what it is trying to tell me.

I learned that I can be my own friend and show compassion and care for myself in more authentic ways when I am willing to look at and feel my emotions.

I learned about digging deeper for finding my "why".

I am truly grateful to Gina for the gift of this program and am looking forward to lots of practice to get better at using the tools I've been given.

Before Mastering Mindfulness, the food noise was so loud in my head...
— Mastering Mindfulness student

Read Her Story

Before Mastering Mindfulness, the food noise was so loud in my head.

I knew in my core that the diet hamster wheel wasn't serving me, but I couldn't quite break free of it.

Every time I would get closer to accepting my body, messages from the outside would creep in.

I couldn't figure out how to balance taking care of and nourishing myself with the desire to be thinner that was leading me down unhealthy roads.

I needed to hear a voice I could trust to keep me steady moving forward but didn't realize it was my own that I needed to hear the most.

Gina turned my own questions and anxieties back towards myself so that I could finally listen to and trust my inner knowing.

Going into this program, I knew that I would be asked to reconsider how I think about food, but nothing could have prepared me for the far-reaching effects that work has had.

This program taught me how to be embodied again.

It sent me on a path that has influenced not just how I approach food, but also my relationships .

"When you started talking about what love feels like, I remember in the beginning saying, I don’t even know what that feels like.

Now, self love feels like this strong, steady connection.

Someone holding my shoulders up like, “I’ve got you.”

This connection with myself will make me so equipped to handle anything in life.

It feels like this unwavering, strong steady fortress.

I’ve got me, no matter what.

Thank you so much for this Gina.

Mastering Mindfulness has been the best experience of my life.”

Gina came at the exact right time for me. I was ready to change I just couldn’t figure out what that meant. I didn’t know exactly why I felt so stuck.

From the first meetings I was able to make life changing strides in my relationship to myself, my body, and food.

This program and the people a part of it provide a supportive environment that I didn’t know was out there.

Having people hear me, get me and push me forward changed who I am and how I look at food in a permanent way.

The meetings each week and the encouragement to trust the process where the biggest factors that lead to me making deep connections to beliefs and habits that I could change.

Going deep and learning what I need instead of focusing on a specific food related goal helped me to achieve lasting pattern changes.

The work you're doing is life changing.

Since the start of the program I’ve shed over 39 pounds, developed ways for dealing with my anxiety and stress...
— Amanda

Read Her Story

"Before starting the mastering mindfulness program with Gina, I had participated in countless weight loss programs. I worked with personal trainers, nutritionists, and dietitians.

I tried weight watchers, my fitness pal, gym memberships, and even had consultations with bariatric surgery clinics and medical weight loss programs.

Despite all of the nutrition information I was taught and all of the program options available to me, I couldn’t figure it out.

I wasn’t willing to have bariatric surgery or to live on weight loss shakes and/or pre-packaged chemical laden food through a hospital program.

Eventually I got sick of talking about food, exercise, and health in general.

I essentially gave up.

At some point, my hopelessness about my body and my health became overwhelming. I reached out to Gina and was given the opportunity to join her mastering mindfulness group. This was different than anything I had participated in before.

There were tools and processes that we went through together as a group, but somehow, at the same time the experience was very individualized allowing each of us to address differing needs and/or issues.

We integrated meditation and breathing along with access to plenty of resources. I identified patterns and traumas from the past in relationship to food and body image issues.

I was able to purge a lot of negativity that had been plaguing my thoughts and self-worth for so long.

With this program I haven’t agonized over a meal plan, food options, or portions. I did, however, become keenly aware of my choices and the impact they may have on how I feel physically. I’ve grown to look at everything as data that guides current and future decisions regarding my health journey.

I’ve given up the self-hate and punitive responses to moments of over-eating or eating something traditionally classified as “junk.” I’ve learned to keep moving because even the littlest steps will help to create big change.

I still have a long journey ahead of me, but in just over one year in the program I’ve shed over 39 pounds, developed coping mechanisms for dealing with anxiety and stress that reduced reliance on medication, and realized there are basic things I can implement that have a positive effect on my energy, ability, and judgment.

In closing, working with Gina has been a life lesson in healing, self-love, and connectedness.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this require a lot of time?

This is less about studying and more about just experiencing it in your life.

You'll have a short lesson and practice each week to guide you, but most of the work happens in your actual life: while you're eating, noticing a craving, having a stressful day, or simply checking in with yourself.

You don't need to spend hours watching videos or doing homework. You'll be practicing what you're learning as you live your life, so little by little, it starts to become part of you.

What if I’ve tried so many things before and I’m afraid I’ll fail at this too?

That fear makes sense when everything you've tried before depended on your ability to stick with it perfectly.

This will ask you to practice... but it won't ask you to be perfect.

You'll be learning how to notice your patterns, make different choices, and keep showing up for yourself even when things don't go the way you hoped.

It's all about learning about yourself. And that's where you grow!

What if I feel completely disconnected from my body?

That’s okay. You don’t need to already know how to listen to your body to begin. That’s what you’re here to learn.

We’ll start with simple ways to notice what’s happening within you and slowly begin making sense of the signals your body is already giving you.

You don’t have to force the connection. It’s something we’ll build together, little by little.

What if I already know a lot about nutrition?

Then you're in the right place.

You may already know a lot about what to eat. But knowing nutrition and knowing how to listen to your body are two different skills.

Mastering Mindfulness™ helps you learn the language of your own body. Hunger. Fullness. Cravings. Emotions. Stress. Satisfaction. And what you actually need in the moments when knowing what you “should” do isn't enough.

You'll still grow your nutrition knowledge along the way, but this is about something deeper: learning how to use what you know while trusting yourself to guide the way.

Do I have to finish everything in 12 weeks?

Nope. The 12 weeks are there to give you a clear path to follow, but no deadlines that you have to stick to.

You can take it at your own pace that feels natural to you. If you need more time with a lesson or practice, take it. If life gets busy, come back when you can.

There’s no falling behind here. The goal isn’t to finish perfectly. It’s to let what you’re learning actually become part of your life.

You’ll have lifetime access to the entire Journey and all of the call recordings, so you can revisit lessons, practices, and conversations whenever you need them.

And when the 12 weeks are over, you can continue practicing on your own or, if you love having ongoing support, you’ll have the option to stay connected through monthly live coaching.

What can I realistically expect after 12 weeks?

Everyone’s journey will look a little different, but after 12 weeks, you’ll have a way to work through the moments with food that used to throw you off.

You'll know how to pause, understand what's happening, and decide how you want to care for yourself. You may notice food taking up less space in your mind, feel more connected to your hunger and fullness, understand your cravings differently, and feel steadier when life gets messy.

And no, you won't be “finished.” :) This is a skill that keeps getting stronger the more you use it.

Our students love that this becomes a lifelong journey.

The more they listen to, love, and care for their bodies, the deeper that relationship becomes.

Is this a diet or weight loss program?

Mastering Mindfulness™ isn't a diet or a weight loss program.

We believe in creating the conditions for your health to thrive by nourishing your body well, understanding what it needs, working with your cravings instead of fighting them, and building a way of caring for yourself that you can actually sustain.

Some people do lose weight as their relationship with food and the way they care for their bodies changes. Weight loss isn't the promise. A healthier relationship with food, your body, and yourself is the work we're here to do.

How do the live calls work?

Live calls are every other Tuesday @ 1pm CT. We'll meet on Zoom for coaching, questions, and support as you move through the journey. Every call is recorded, so you can watch it later if you can't be there live.

You'll also be able to submit questions ahead of time, so you can still receive support even when you can't attend.

What if I want to lose weight?

That's great too! We just take a more sustainable approach here.

So many weight-loss programs rely on restriction and rigid rules without addressing the deeper reasons we eat the way we do. And that's often what leaves people losing weight, regaining it, and starting all over again.

Mastering Mindfulness™ is intentionally designed to help you build a healthy lifestyle while also growing your self-trust with food, so the changes you're making are ones you can actually sustain.

Weight loss isn't something we can promise, but some of our students have found that this was the work that finally helped them see results without having to fight themselves to get there.

What if I struggle with emotional eating or strong cravings?

You’re absolutely in the right place. Cravings and emotional eating are a part of what we’ll explore together.

Rather than trying to control your cravings or make them go away, you'll begin getting curious about understanding them.

Little by little, you'll learn to meet those moments with more understanding, instead of feeling like you have to fight yourself through them.

YOU'RE READY FOR SOMETHING DIFFERENT.

If no one ever taught you how to trust yourself…

this is where you learn.

Still have a question before you join?

Send it to support@masteringmindfulness.institute. We’re here to help you get the clarity you need.
